The discussion of golimumab for the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis at the Technology Appraisal Committee meeting of 17th November has been cancelled. This is because errors were discovered in the submitted analyses that could not be rectified before the meeting. It is essential that the Appraisal Committee have access to the most robust analyses in order to formulate their preliminary recommendation, so the manufacturer of golimumab regretfully decided to withdraw their submission. The appraisal will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity.
