Preventing the uptake of smoking by children and young people: costing statement
A costing statement has been produced by NICE to provide an implementation tool to estimate the financial impact to the NHS and other sectors of implementing the public health intervention guidance PH14 - Mass media and point-of-sales measures to prevent the uptake of smoking by children and young people.
The costing statement focuses on the financial impact of the recommendations that require most change in resources to implement in England.
The Institute would welcome feedback to inform the development of future costing tools. Please email your comments to costing@nice.org.uk
