This algorithm has been removed following the publication of the Quitting smoking in pregnancy and following childbirth guidance in June 2010. The quick reference guide for Quitting smoking in pregnancy and following childbirth contains an algorithm that provides an overview of the referral and care management process in relation to smoking cessation interventions. The algorithm can be found on page 5 of the quick reference guide.
