Project history

Date Update
20 December 2012 Resolution has closed with no resolution requests received. NICE will publish guidance on Wednesday 9 January 2013.
5 November 2012 MTAC met to develop final guidance for this technology at its meeting on 19 October 2012. The final guidance will be released to stakeholders who responded to the MTCD consultation as part of the Resolution process on 28 November 2012 (for more details about the Resolution process please see section 6 of the process guide). NICE will update stakeholders of the anticipated publication date of the guidance once the resolution period has closed.

The NICE Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme has undertaken an evaluation of EXOGEN ultrasound bone healing system for long bone fractures with non-union or delayed healing. These consultation documents contain information on the committees draft recommendations and details on how medical technology evaluations are conducted.

Consultation on these documents will open on 15 August 2012 at 9.00am and close on 12 September 2012 at 9.00am. NICE would like to receive comments on these documents from anyone who has an interest in the technology or the disease area in general.
