Summary

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has issued full guidance to the NHS in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland on high dose rate brachytherapy for carcinoma of the cervix.

Description

following a CT scan or X-ray a treatment plan is produced for each patient treatment is then delivered directly to the tumour site by high dose rate brachytherapy equipment
