Published interventional procedures

Most of the procedures NICE looks at are new. Exceptionally, NICE may be asked to issue urgent guidance where new evidence raises questions about the safety or efficacy of an established procedure.

Where guidance is needed urgently, NICE may issue "interim guidance". When we issue interim guidance, we will usually go on to issue final guidance at a later date following a fuller review of the evidence.
