CG2 Infection control: information for patients, their carers and the public

This information describes the guidance that the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (called NICE for short) has given to the NHS on preventing infection in people receiving healthcare at home or in GP surgeries, health centres or clinics, or elsewhere in the community.

Although the information in this booklet has been written chiefly for patients and carers, it may also be useful for family members and for people with an interest in infection prevention or healthcare in general.
