Responsibility for the development of this guideline has transferred to the National Clinical Guidelines Centre for Acute and Chronic Conditions. Key contacts and timelines  remain unchanged.

The NCC is currently looking to recruit members for the Guideline Development Group (GDG)
24 July 2009 The scope defines what aspects of care are covered by the guideline and to whom it applies. Comments that were made by stakeholders during the consultation on the scope can be seen in the scope consultation table. The Guideline Development Group (GDG) oversees the development process.
